I used to have crippling anxiety and learned how to control it. I know what works and that is why now for years I’ve been helping people, just like you, to recognise and manage their anxiety.
Why this course, now?
I know that not everyone can afford to work one to one with me, but I want to help more people, people like you who are sick of being kept small by their anxiety and overwhelm, who know they could achieve great things if only they could stop being scared and have more confidence. So I’ve designed this course to make my experience more accessible to more people.
Doing the work I set you will help you understand anxiety and learn some great tools for controlling it. You will experience all the experience and knowledge I use with clients in my one to one sessions, the principles and techniques that can change your perception of anxiety to put you in the driving seat of your life.
It’s about practising the techniques I recommend and engagement in the private group set up especially for this course, so that we all get 100% benefit from it. I’ll be giving 100% and I’d like to invite you to do the same to begin to take control of your anxiety once and for all.

I sought Hazel’s help when I decided I had to lose weight. I was one of those people who fluctuated between crash dieting and uncontrollable eating, especially when under stress or when tired.
My friends and family are relaxed around meals, leaving food when they’ve had enough or opting to leave the rest of a chocolate bar for another day. I was the exact opposite. When eating out I was obsessive, focussing on food rather than conversation and was keen to eat as much of whatever I could that was acceptable in public.

I've been where you are now, or something pretty similar.
A few year ago in the middle of an ordinary workday, I hit a wall.
I fell to pieces because I’d made a simple mistake that, at any other time, wouldn’t have phased me at all. I hid in the ladies, crying, shaking, heart pounding, sweating, thoughts racing. I was very scared - I didn’t know what was happening. I was a grown woman for goodness sake, I’d travelled and worked all over the world, ridden an ostrich race, jumped out of a plane and climbed volcanos. So why was I reacting like this to a small mistake? I thought I was losing my mind. I wasn’t. What was happening was stress and anxiety. I was depressed and I was in despair.
I’d known for a while that my life wasn’t as it should be, I’d lost my joy, felt fearful most of the time, stopped enjoying life, nothing felt right, and I knew I was no longer my authentic self – it was all one big act. I decided to make big changes and worked on the unhelpful habits and behaviours that were bringing me down. I learned new strategies, new ways of thinking and a new way to live my life.
I studied the latest research on depression, stress and anxiety. I trained as a Transformational Coach, Cognitive Hypnotherapist, NLP Practitioner and used some common-sense wisdom. I found out everything I could and drew from the best of all the therapies and made them work for me. It was a steep learning curve, but it was the best thing I ever did because I found out what worked for me. I learned how to challenge unhelpful, negative thinking and turn off the incessant chatter that we all have in our heads that often make us unhappy, anxious and holds us back.
Today I am a more resilient, relaxed and confident person than I ever was. I have my toolkit of techniques which means I deal better with what life throws at me. And my passion is to pass on this knowledge and life experience so that you can benefit from it.
I truly believe it’s possible for anyone to dump old, unhelpful ways of being, live their best lives and go forward into the future with confidence and courage.

I've had anxiety so long I don't know if I can be any other way
It doesn't matter how long you've suffered from anxiety, you can still make powerful changes to the way you think, feel and behave to get better outcomes for yourself.
What if I can't do the work?
I'll give you everything you need to do the work in between sessions including videos you can watch as many times as you need to, a workbook explaining the principles of what we are doing and your exercise, video, audio or written instructions for the tools I'm teaching you and then there is the live every Thursday evening where you can ask questions and get them answered instantly.
I don't know if I can commit to six weeks
I get that doing something every week is a commitment, but isn't it worth it to get rid of the anxiety that's crippling you and holding you back in life. Six weeks of work isn't much when you think that what you learn can benefit you for the rest of your life.
I'm not good at technology
The videos will be posted on Facebook and instructions emailed to you so if you can use email and have a Facebook account you're already there. The lives will be via a platform called Zoom. If you haven't used Zoom before it doesn't matter because in the welcome email I'll include details instructions for you to easily access zoom so that we can work face to face.
What if I can't keep up?
The course material doesn't disappear after six weeks. You can keep the workbook and the instructions forever and go back over it at your own pace. And don't forget I am in the Facebook group and on zoom to support you. You will also be surprised at how supportive other members are too. You're not doing this alone, I have your back.
I'd rather do this face to face
Yes it would be lovely to be in a room with everyone each week but currently that really isn't possible and honestly, once you are on Zoom you'll forget the we're not in the room together. Doing this online means that I can offer my services at a greatly reduced price and reach more people.
